It's summer. It's the season for outdoor drinking. Where should you go? Check out some of these outdoor beer gardens & distilleries!

1. The Anchor - Charlestown

A unique destination for outdoor drinking, food and games. They have a dynamic event menu, with live music, public art & more! Plus the waterfront views are great. All ages are welcome & they are always open to the public.

Where: 1 Shipyard Park, Charlestown MA

When: Monday - Thursday 4pm-11pm, Friday-Sunday 11am-11pm

2. City Winery on the Greenway

Open air wine garden in Dewey Square, right across from South Station. Beers and ciders from Harpoon are also available, along with Mediterranean-inspired menu items. Drink on this historic landscape that was repurposed in 2004 after the "Big Dig".

Where: Rose Kennedy Greenway, Atlantic Ave

When: Wednesday 4-9pm, Friday 4-10pm, Saturday 1-9pm, Sunday 11am-7pm

3. Bully Boy Cocktail Garden

An outdoor cocktail garden at the Bully Boy Distillery in Roxbury. Food trucks will be on site, but you're also permitted to bring your own food - great picnic opportunity! Tours of the distillery will also be available, but you should book them ahead of time on their website.

Where: 44 Cedric Street, Roxbury

When: Thursday 5-9pm, Friday & Saturday 1-9pm, Sunday 1-6pm

4. Downeast Cider Pop-Up Bar

Outdoor cider pop-up in an East Boston shipyard with beautiful views of the city. Located directly across from the cider house offering four rotating draft lines & a fully stocked fridge of canned ciders. Have you tried their blue slushie cider yet!?

Where: 256 Marginal St, East Boston

When: Thursday & Friday 5-9pm, Saturday 11am-8pm, Sunday 12pm-7pm

5. Il Patio di Eataly

Outdoor patio experience featuring authentic Eataly favorites. There's nothing better than enjoying an aperitivo in the city on a warm day. Come by and grab an aperol spritz and some Neapolitan-style pizza!

Where: 800 Boylston Street

When: Sunday-Thursday 11am-9:30pm, Friday & Saturday 11am-10:30pm

6. Cisco Brewers

Nantucket's own Cisco Brewers outdoor beer garden in Seaport is a top tier destination. I'd be surprised if you've never heard of it. Enjoy Cisco's signature beers along with wines & craft cocktails. Food from Rexicana is available as well as live music from local artists Steve Rondo & Matty Sheehan. They do not take reservations & work on a first come, first serve basis - get there early on a weekend, the line grows quickly!

Where: 65 Northern Ave, Seaport

When: Tuesday-Thursday 4-11pm, Friday 3-11pm, Saturday & Sunday 12-11pm

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

I started this blog with the goal of offering readers a glimpse into my experiences around Boston. As someone who's always wondered "what should I do this weekend?" I wanted to create something to give ideas for just that. My experience in the hospitality industry and real estate industry have opened me up to so much that this city has to offer. Take some time to explore the blog and see for yourself. Feedback is always welcome as I'm constantly trying to improve. Read on and enjoy!
